MCX gold climbs to ₹1.55 lakh per 10 grams, silver slips to ₹2.36 lakh per kg

Gold prices rose on safe-haven buying ahead of US inflation data. MCX gold futures for Oct delivery rose 0.98% to ₹1.54 lakh per 10 grams. Silver fell 0.16%.
