HDFC Bank ADRs fall over 9% after Q1 margin disappointment

HDFC Bank shares tumbled more than 5% on Monday after its ADRs plunged on Wall Street, as investors reacted to weaker-than-expected June-quarter margins. The sell-off erased nearly ₹65,000 crore from the lender’s market capitalisation.
