The clarification comes after a 19-year-old youth, Deepak alias Deepu, claimed that an astronomical amount appeared in his late mother Gayatri Devi’s bank account. Gayatri Devi died two months ago, but her account was reportedly still being accessed by her son. Shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd ended at ₹2,001.75, up by ₹4.80, or 0.24%, on the BSE today (August 5).
