Trump tariff threat wipes out $12 billion from Asian automakers’ market capitalisation

According to a Bloomberg report, automobile exports account for more than a third of Japan’s total shipments to the US. Additionally, nearly 67% of Hyundai’s cars sold in the US were exported from South Korea, while 45% of Kia’s vehicles were shipped from its home country.
