The Bengaluru-based state-owned HAL was tasked with the making of Tejas, India’s first indigenously made light combat jet. The deliveries were supposed to begin by March 2024 but there’s no sign of yet, triggering the Indian Air Force to publicly admonish the company, leading to a sharp fall in the stock price ahead of its earnings.
