Gold prices rise today, but on track for biggest monthly decline in 14 months

In India, the price of 22-carat gold surged by ₹670 per 10 grams, reaching ₹71,600 from ₹70,930 on Thursday. Similarly, 24-carat gold rose to ₹7,811 per gram, according to Goodreturns data.
