BSE will replace Wipro in the Nifty 50 index from September 30, ending the IT major’s nearly uninterrupted three-decade presence in India’s benchmark equity gauge. The move could trigger passive inflows of about $741 million into BSE, while Wipro may see outflows of around $246 million as index-tracking funds rebalance their portfolios.
