Maharatna firm Coal India Q1 profit stays flat at ₹8,852 crore despite higher revenue

Coal India’s June quarter reflected resilient revenue growth but continued pressure on profitability as rising costs weighed on operating margins. While consolidated profit remained largely unchanged year on year, the state-run miner declared an interim dividend of ₹5.50 per share for FY27, with July 31 fixed as the record date for eligible shareholders.
