AI trade is still keeping global investors away from India, says HSBC strategist

HSBC’s Herald Van Der Linde said foreign investors continue to favour Taiwan and South Korea due to strong AI-driven earnings growth, leaving India temporarily out of focus. While India’s valuations and earnings outlook have improved slightly, concerns over currency and competition remain. He also said central bank demand supports gold prices and highlighted banks, autos and jewellery stocks as preferred sectors in India.
