Forty-four Nifty stocks finished in the green. Tata Motors jumped more than 3% after reporting strong June-quarter results, while Adani Enterprises and Trent were also among the top gainers. HDFC Bank rose nearly 1%, contributing significantly to the Nifty’s advance.
