PNGRB Member AK Tiwari says the latest gas tariff reforms strike a balance between the interests of pipeline operators, consumers, and CGD companies. The move to a two-zone structure and a unified tariff for CNG and PNG users is expected to sharply reduce transportation costs and support broader access. “We have implemented one zone, one tariff for CNG and PNG, and slowly, we are moving toward one tariff on a pan-India basis,” Tiwari told CNBC-TV18.
