The IEX reaching monthly electricity traded volume reached 10,910 million units (MU) in January 2025, supported by increased supply-side liquidity and robust demand. The exchange also recorded its highest-ever monthly trade of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), with 38.03 lakh units traded—marking a 150% YoY growth.
