Strait of Hormuz disruption keeps oil risks high; markets reassess rate cuts: Neeraj Seth

Neeraj Seth, Founder & CIO of 3R Investment Management, says oil supply risks remain as traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is still disrupted, leaving nearly 20% of global supply affected. While emergency reserves and eased sanctions may ease shortages, the conflict shows no clear end. Markets are repricing risk and scaling back expectations of global monetary easing due to inflation concerns from higher oil prices. Seth remains cautious on emerging markets and believes India may attract flows later if oil stabilises and valuations correct.
