No tariff relief for metals, but indirect demand boost likely: ICICI Securities

The India-US tariff cut is expected to support overall market sentiment, but steel and aluminium tariffs under Section 232 will continue. Vikash Singh, VP at ICICI Securities says metals could benefit indirectly through stronger export demand, while ferrous metals are currently preferred due to seasonal demand trends. Silver price outlook has also been revised higher by him.
