India-US Trade Deal | 2026 could be a bumper year for jewellery exports, says SEEPZ Chairman

India’s gems and jewellery exporters are preparing for a strong comeback after the India-US trade deal sharply lowered tariff pressures and restored competitiveness against Asian peers. With US retailers running lean on inventory and gold prices expected to stabilise, SEEPZ believes the sector could regain lost export momentum and return closer to pre-decline levels in 2026.
