CESC Green Power Ltd signed an MoU with the Uttar Pradesh government to set up a 3GW solar cell and module plant, a 60 MW solar power plant, R&D facilities, and ancillary units, at an investment of around ₹3,800 crore; this comes on the heels of a ₹4,500-cr project in Odisha.
