The mine, owned by Mahan Energen Ltd, a subsidiary of Adani Power, has a peak production capacity of 6.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). Of this, 5 MTPA is expected to be supplied from open-cast mining operations by FY27, while the balance will come from underground mining.
