Rupee rallies as stronger current account surplus, lower imports boost sentiment

The Indian rupee has surged 1.5% from its February low, driven by a current account surplus, robust services exports, and lower imports. Corporates unwinding dollar positions and stable remittances have further strengthened sentiment. However, upcoming reciprocal tariffs on April 2nd pose a potential risk to its upward trajectory.
