FMCG major Hindustan Unilever, adhesive maker Pidilite Industries, India’s larest public sector bank SBI will be in focus on Thursday, October 24, when the stock market resumes trading. Meanwhile, indices extended their losing streak on Wednesday as investors booked profits in auto, pharma and capital goods shares amid continued FPI outflows. The 30-share BSE Sensex closed lower by 138.74 points or 0.17% at 80,081.98 on Wednesday with 22 of its constituents ending lower.
The NSE Nifty settled lower by 36.60 points or 0.15% to 24,435.50.
