Adaro, alleging a breach of contract by TPCL, has initiated the arbitration process with a claim of $106 million. Tata Power, in response, has raised counterclaims of $229.947 million for Adaro’s failure to fulfil its obligations under the coal supply agreement. Shares of Tata Power Company Ltd ended at ₹439.30, down by ₹1.35, or 0.31%, on the BSE.
