Power Grid Corporation has been declared the successful bidder under tariff-based competitive bidding to establish a 400 kV inter-state transmission system on a BOOT basis, strengthening the network to integrate 3GW of additional renewable energy at Davanagere (0.25 GW) and Bellary (2.75 GW) in Karnataka.
